Shopping for Plus Size Fashion will never be the same

Toronto, October 4, 2009: Monroe’s Voice Inc. has created a publication that gives plus size women more shopping options than they could ever imagine. By gathering a collection of (over 100) local stores that offer plus fashion within their neighbourhood and beyond, we now have real fashion choices. Finally, the fashion industry and retailers figured it out; we need clothes that fit the other 68% of the population.

We still live in a world where being plus sized is negatively looked upon. It’s the last form of discrimination that is socially acceptable. As a woman it's a challenge to overcome the stereotypes and become comfortable within our own skin when society tells us that it's completely unattractive and undesirable.  Being plus sized myself my experience has been the opposite. When a plus size woman makes the effort and puts herself together she can be beautiful; more so because she gains a new level of confidence. Curvaceous Fashion Guide aims to become a part of that transformation.
